Cadatum connects 12d Model V14 to a cloud alignment and drafting service. Align an external DXF or DWG design to your project grid, then turn an active 12d view into a drafted DXF and PDF - with approval gates, file verification and traceability built in.
Pricing is quoted for each pilot. Cadatum does not replace a surveyor's professional review.
Workflow
Two controlled steps, inside 12d
Both steps run from the model and active view already open - there is no separate web form to re-enter your selection.

Align external design
Select an external DXF or DWG and the project's grid model. Cadatum matches design grid references against the canonical grid CSV and solves the scale, rotation and translation.
An aligned DXF is produced only when the result is approved. The job ID, source hashes and transform are recorded on imported elements.

Submit active-view survey
Confirm the aligned design, grid model and survey models in scope. Cadatum exports points and line strings while retaining their intended structure.
The service drafts a drawing sheet with grid references, title block, north point and scale information. Drafted DXF and PDF files are verified by SHA-256 hash before download.

- Export happens only for an approved alignment outcome. Mixed, unverified or unapproved inputs do not silently become deliverables.

- Every uploaded and downloaded artefact is checked against a SHA-256 hash before it is promoted to a result.
- 03 Traceability
- Alignment job ID, source hashes, scale, rotation and translation are recorded on imported 12d elements and in the cloud job record.
- 04 Topology preserved
- Point strings stay points and line strings retain their ordered, connected topology through to drafting.
